Reading Film Theatre was established over 35 years ago as an independent cinema with a policy to show the best films from around the world.

The Next Few Months...

Perfomances now start at 7:30pm unless otherwise stated, doors open 45 minutes before the start of the film with no entry after 7:30pm.

The picture (left) shows an image from Margot at the Wedding showing in June. Margot, a poisonously pretentious, manipulative and self-deceiving woman is a wedding guest at her sister's wedding. Baumbach’s dialogue rings true in this dysfunctional family drama as the audience become involved in embarrassing situations.
